Lena Ruzanova

I am responsible for Ocean BCO (beneficial cargo owner) development team and in progress of staffing Ocean Freight Forwarding development team. My role in Xeneta is to make Ocean product better, to have happy, motivated and productive team. To help developers in my team to grow and find their place in the organization. 

Xeneta is a good place to work. There are a lot of nice people and the company cares about its employees. One of the hiring principle is to hire not only professional but also nice people. It is a very warm and friendly atmosphere, multi-cultural environment, innovative technologies and lots of fun.

I educated in mathematics and physics then switched to Software testing, project management and then later team management. I have 18 years experience in software development industry in total, worked with Hydride, Cloud, migration and integration projects. I moved to Norway in 2010, fallen in love with this country and stay here since then.  I started in Xeneta as an Engineering Manager in November 2022.

Be honest, open and the most important yourself. If you are not from Norway I would advice you to do some research regarding the country before you move here. Norway has a beautiful nature, a bit colder and sometimes hush climate, nice and friendly people. There are some small details regarding tax, education requirements, vacation and social benefits in Norway what can be slightly different from other countries.
