About Oslo

This is the capitol of Norway and the biggest city in the country. It is also one of the oldest cities in the country and one of the most walkable capitols in the world. The capital is the seat of the Norwegian Government and also the home of Norway`s royal family. The Royal Palace is located at the end of Oslo`s main street, Karl Johans gate, and is usually open for guests from late June to the middle of August. Guided tours take guests through some of the most important rooms in the Royal Palace. Besides The Royal Palace, many other locations and attractions are worth a visit in Oslo, such as The Norwegian Opera and Ballet, The National Museum, The Munch Museum, or the Akershus Fortress.

Christian - VP Human Resources. At Xeneta since January 2014

Xeneta has developed a lot. When I started, we were 8 people working in a rundown office above a warehouse, and it was mostly Norwegian men. Now we are 250 people in multiple countries, from around 60 countries, and truly one of the most diverse groups I have ever seen. Xeneta is now also an established brand in our industry and not only a great concept no one had ever heard about.

Özge -Senior Data Analyst. In Xeneta since September 2018

Xeneta’s Oslo office always has this friendly environment that makes me feel comfortable like I am at home. The most important factor here is the people of Xeneta. Chatting with the nicest people while grabbing a coffee or having lunch at the table together is a blast. I also enjoy our office activities a lot.

Wenwen - Shipping Analyst, Air Freight. In Xeneta since January 2017

Xeneta offers a diverse and inclusive culture. I have been given the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from various international backgrounds. I have taken leadership roles in the data management team located in the Oslo and New Jersey offices. As Xeneta has a unique position in the dynamic shipping industry, I get to support the making and development of benchmarking standards for the ocean and air industries and talk to global customers all around the world. With my new role in the market analysis team, I am excited to use Xeneta’s unique freight data sets to deliver meaningful market insights for our global customers.
